We are delighted to announce that the AULP Awards 2025 are now open for nominations!
The AULP Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate the achievements of legal teams and professionals working in the Higher Education sector. The Awards provide an opportunity to highlight the excellence, innovation and dedication shown by legal staff working across HE and be a platform for acknowledging the exceptional talent within the sector.
The AULP Awards 2025 Ceremony will be held on the evening of Thursday 26th June as part of the Gala dinner at the AULP Annual Conference 2025 in York.
For a Legal team (or sub team) that has gone above and beyond to deliver an excellent, value-added service to their institution.
Eligibility: Open to all AULP member institutions.
Team of the Year Award Nomination Form
For a member of legal team (or wider University team) who has made a significant impact to their team by consistently delivering excellent legal support.
Eligibility: Open to all AULP members.
Team Player Award Nomination Form
For an individual in a leadership role (at any level) who is an inspirational leader, demonstrably making a difference to the development and wellbeing of their colleagues, while delivering first class legal support.
Eligibility: Open to all AULP members.
Leader of the Year Award Nomination
For an individual or a team that has delivered a project in a collaborative or innovative way, working either internally or with external organisations.
Eligibility: Open to all AULP members, at either team or individual level.
Innovation and Collaboration Award Nomination Form
For an individual who has made a significant, long term contribution to the higher education sector through their leadership, specialism or excellence, over their career.
Eligibility: Open to all AULP members. Final nominees will be determined by the AULP Executive Committee but we are open to nominations from members. Please note that self-nominations will not be accepted for this award.
Carolyn Pike Special Recognition Award Nomination Form
For a junior member of legal team who has made a significant impact to their institution and who can demonstrate excellence in their contribution.
Eligibility: Open to all newly qualified lawyers with 3 years or less PQE, and Paralegals, legal apprentices/trainees and assistants with less than three years’ experience in their current role, working within AULP member institutions.
Rising Star Award Nomination Form
Nominations will be judged by two panels of representatives drawn from within the sector, led by AULP Executive Committee members.
To make a nomination, please complete the relevant form for your category and submit it, along with any supporting documentation, via email to info@aulp.ac.uk by 5pm, Friday 18th April 2025.
