We were delighted to welcome university legal practitioners from across the UK and Ireland to join us for our AULP Annual Conference 2024 event. With great sessions from headline speakers, plus networking, CPD and wellbeing opportunities, and the chance to enjoy the beautiful Lougborough University campus, we believe that this was our biggest and best conference yet!
Thank you to our wonderful speakers and sponsors who helped us a deliver such a fantastic event! And a huge thank you to Loughborough University for hosting us.
We were thrilled to be able offer members an exciting programme of speakers, who explored key areas in university legal services, including free speech, inquests, duties of care for disabled students, cyber attacks and ethical issues for in-house lawyers.
The in-person experience was hugely valuable and it was a great opportunity to build the peer support networks that are so vital for resilience in this profession. The breadth and quality of speakers was also impressive with some valuable shared learning. Topics were directly relevant to current issues facing the sector.
