The AULP Annual Conference 2026 took place on 18–19 June at the University of St Andrews, marking our first conference held outside England. This year’s theme, Beyond Borders, encouraged delegates to think beyond geographical, organisational, and conceptual boundaries — embracing diverse perspectives and approaches from across the sector.
Across two days, colleagues took part in a varied programme of keynote sessions, panel discussions, practical workshops, and networking opportunities. Sessions explored cross‑institutional collaboration, emerging legal and regulatory challenges, and the evolving role of university legal teams.
